Buranelli

The medieval city of Treviso resembles Venice due to its numerous picturesque canals populated by swans and ducks. The most famous canal is Buranelli. Its name comes from the small shops of fish merchants from the Venetian island of Burano. The Buranelli festivities are organized in Treviso each year in the second half of June. Their highlight is the food festival with the tasting of meals from the regional cuisine and races of waiters.
